Seven Samurai by Akira Kurosawa is a great movie everybody has to watch. Although it took me 3 days to watch, it was well worth the time. The movie is almost 3 and a half hours long, a cinematic masterpiece that I believe will never be out done. Many of your favorite directors have been quoted Akira Kurosawa as a major influence. I think I have a new favorite movie and actor.

Toshiro Mifune plays Kikuchiyo in Seven Samurai, a farmer's son posing as a samurai in hopes of fame and acceptance. Also noted as one of the greatest actors of all time. Hilarious in Seven Saumurai.

So, go watch Seven Samurai.....NOW!

Yay! I haven't updated this for a helluva long time! But who reads this anyway?

From Wednesday to Friday I was on a backpacking trip in Yosemite.

On the 4th, I went to a Dagdagan family reunion. The sad part is, I think I'm about the only teen Dagdagan male (ya knoe, to pass on the name, etc.) The rest of my cousins are female. But none of the other Dagdagans from my area were there, how weird.

And yesterday, I went to Warped Tour!!! So many people from Vallejo were there, although I did have to hunt them, and them me. I saw bands like Rancid, Sum 41, Glassjaw, Simple Plan, The Ataris, Talib Kweli (sp?), The Used, and others. AAR weren't there, damn it! The only bad part were the idiots and the possible sunburn I now have.

I hate moshers and crowd surfers.
